I LOVE my Vanguard!...It is very light on the water, effortless to row and maneuver! When using it for fishing the VG allows me to get into places I previously could not get into with other rafts. It is so stable and gives me so much confidence that in Class III Whitewater sometimes I wish I were in another boat just to scare myself a bit!...It's a great boat regardless of the money!

Been in the business since '71 and known Holly for 18 years. She has always been about serving the customer and in our dealing with VG the company is consistent with her ethics and values. I've run the VG's on the Grand Canyon and here in Colorado. They have incredible performance with superior tracking. The quality of construction is outstanding. But its the price that makes these rafts an unbeatable value!

I've guided in every make of inflatable and straight-up the VG is the best fishing boat out there. It is responsive whether empty or loaded. It's shallow draft allows me to float instead of drag in low water where I can't go with any other inflatable (with the same amount of load).

The Vanguard moves very well on the water and in the bony sections, I was able to scoot around rocks like I was in a drift boat.

We were both loaded with gear bags, coolers, dry bags, water containers, trash bucket, etc. These boats [1-person IKs] resisted wind gust triggered capsizing better than any inflatable I've ever been in. In fact, we were extremely glad we weren't in Tomcats...That trip could have had a whole different outcome if not for the remarkable stability of the Vanguard Inflatable kayak. I'm a fan for life!!!

We just took 2 heavily loaded 14'2" VG's down the Grand were they performed AWESOME. These rigid little boats punched through some waves that flipped other 16' & 18' boats. The other Boatmen were all hard pressed to release the oars once they tried our Vanguards out. You guys make a durable 'Sporty' boat that can't be beat for the money.

As a Professional Guide I have rowed all makes of drift boats. I wanted to access areas I couldn't reach and, during low flows, was tearing up my boats (not to mention the fish could hear me a mile away!). I chose a VG because it was particularly suited for fishing. I expected it to be sluggish compared to a drift boat, but the VG responds and tracks with so little effort I now use it more than my drift boat!

In purchasing 25 rafts and IK's last season we at OARS made a smart business decision. They are a genuine value! In our South & Middle Fork operation our guides love the performance and said the VG's definately gave our customers a lot wetter ride.
